Maximizer

Maximizers focus on strengths, not only their own, but the strengths of those around them. Taking something from below average to slightly above average takes a great deal of effort and is not very rewarding to a maximizer. Transforming something strong into something superb takes just as much effort but is much more thrilling. So maximiers look for strengths and, having found a strength, they feel compelled to nurture it, refine it, and stretch it toward excellence.

Positivity

People with the trait of positivity are generous with praise, quick to smile, and always on the lookout for the positive in the situation. Their enthusiasm is contagious and brightens the world around them. They celebrate every achievement and find ways to make everything more exciting and more vital. Somehow they can't quite escape the conviction that it is good to be alive, that work can be fun, and that no matter what the setbacks, one must never lose one's sense of humor.

Developer

Developers see the potential in others. Very often, in fact, potential is all they see. Each individual is a work in progress, alive with possibilities. And they are drawn toward people for this very reason.
When a developer interacts with others, his/her goal is to help them experience success. They look for ways to challenge them. Signs of growth in others is their fuel. They bring strength and satisfaction. Over time many will seek them out for help and encouragement because on some level they know that a developer's helpfulness is both genuine and fulfilling to them.

Activator

"When can we start?" This is a recurring question in an activator's life. They are impatient for action. Guided by their Activator theme, they believe that action is the best device for learning.
Activators make a decision, take action, look at the result, and they learn. This learning informs their next action. How can you grow if you have nothing to react to? Well, they believe  they can't. They believe they must put themselves out there. They must take the next step. It is the only way to keep their thinking fresh and informed.

Ideation

Individuals defined by Ideation are fascinated by ideas. They are delighted when they discover beneath the complex surface an elegantly simple concept to explain why things are the way they are. Theirs is the kind of mind that is always looking for connections, and so they are intrigued when seemingly disparate phenomena can be linked by an obscure connection. An idea is a new perspective on familiar challenges. They revel in taking the world we all know and turning it around so we can view it from a strange but strangely enlightening angle.
