During summer camps, I helped behind the scenes, helping shifts in the kitchen and on housekeeping, running activities, or as a counselor-in-training. My job was to keep the background gears rolling so the counselors had opportunity to connect with the campers.

September 2013 - May 2015

Working with middle-school girls, I helped supervise children during games and lesson time, as well as helped them to memorize verses. I built connections with the girls and used my role as a leader to encourage and show love to the children.
